Happy Holidays to you all. Its been a very busy Dec. as usual, the kids are counting down the days.
Ash and Tess have had 2 dance recitals and oh so cute they know the dance and never miss a beat. They love getting all dressed up and the stage and lights they are not shy at all, they don't take after their mom in that regard! McKoy is a great supporter to them after they danced he told Ash that she did really good and looked cute! What a brother.
Have to tell the funny things Koy said the past weeks, he is just like a sponge when it comes to TV commercials, he said to me "Mom we should get some neck flex" I said "I guess I don't know what that is." He says "That thing on your TV that you can get movies and keep them as long as you want". I said "You mean Net Flicks?" "Ya mom Neck Flex!" Another week he had been talking about maybe he should tell Santa he wants some bristles for Christmas, so finally one day I thought maybe I should find out what bristles are in case he dose ask Santa for some. So I ask well just what are bristles, his explanation was this, " you know those things that hold your teeth in, like Christian has, so all my teeth don't fall out at the same time". Keep in mind he has 2 missing teeth and 4 more loose ones. So I figure out that bristles are braces. And today he ask me what I wanted for Christmas I told him way to many things to list and he says "I could get you the new mop that sends your old mop to the curb, and the 360 duster it can get into places your old duster never dreamed of!" If its on TV he is sold! Yikes makes you realize how careful you have to be with what they watch. He is a crack up.
Little Challas, well not so little is getting big so fast. We are savoring his baby stage and he is trying to sit up and laughs and grabs toys and eats them. He is so much fun. He can maneuver the walker around the kitchen, he is bald every where but on the top he has a bunch of hair, its the opposite of an old man balding! To cute.
Ashton came down with the fever tonight, not to happy about that but at least it will be gone by Christmas, but its never fun anytime that is comes. We were hoping she was growing out of it. She sure is a tough little girl.
Tess is a funny one, she is a total princess, wants and usually dose wear a dress everyday. The puffier the better so she can spin. She says to me a lot "Do I look fabEous (fabulous) in this dress?"
Merry Christmas hope to post new pics soon.

Update!
December already, well I have not updated the blog in a while cause it has been broke. I have no idea why it is working now but glad it is!
We had a busy Oct and Nov. Tess turned 3 wow that went by fast. Ashton went 5 months with out a fever episode and it returned mid November. McKoy lost 2 teeth and 2 more are loose, he thinks the tooth fairy is alright! Challas is giggling and so fun to visit with he weighed 15 pounds at his 2 month appt. Everyone is growing and doing great. The girls love dance and Mckoy loves to go trappin with dad. I won a camera in a photo contest and the picture of Tess was on the cover of the magazine. Matt is busy with fall and winter cow work and glad its trappin season.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving as usual the food was to die for good and we ate way to much! I will try and post some new pictures after I see if the blog is fixed.

Dance classes
First day of dance, how cute are these girls. We are going out on a limb and we put the girls in dance its once a week and only and 40 minute drive! We may be nuts but I think its worth it when you see how much fun the girls are having. We did cute dance hair too and they love dance clothes! Hallie is in the same class and its pretty cute watching them dance together.

Ash is 4 and Tess is almost 3.

Sept 26th and 27th weekend
Our annual fall ride helping Nana and Pops push the cows to Etna. Sunday Sept 27th. was a nice warm fall day. The kids love helping and its a easy ride for them to go on. We followed along in the truck and trailer to pick them up when they got there. Challas just slept the whole time in his car seat and Tess cracked me up trying to sing along with the radio and dance. Koy and Ash traded off riding on Brogan. Here is Tess and Ash after we had got there with the cows they were riding around together.
How precious is this picture of Pops and Ash, just riding along behind the cows visiting! Way to cute.

Challa's First Road trip, we went to Grandma and Grandpas. We took off Monday Sept 21st. On the way down we stopped at the pediatricians office to get medicine for pink eye, Ash and Tess found that germ somewhere, while we were there the girls and Koy got their flu shots, Koy is like me and ran out of the room when it was his turn, I retrieved him and then had to hold on tight while the nurse gave him the shot! It was kinda comical but I knew just how he felt! The girls did not mind the shot and were excited at their cute band aids! We also stopped at Aunt Libby and Uncle Ron's house to visit. We enjoyed the visit and Kathy, Eric and Brooke came over to, Kathy and Brooke took the kids out to the garden and picked carrots and sweet peas and to see the Pygmy goat. They are still talking about it.
We got to Grandmas toward evening and were happy to be there. We had a great week got to see a lot of the family, did some shopping and Kami did my hair yeah! Aunt and Grandma gave me a lot of breaks and watched the kids so I could shop in peace! Can not thank them enough! The funniest thing about this trip was I forgot the baby's bag with all his clothes and diapers etc. Luckily Grandma and Aunt had shopped already and he had a new wardrobe awaiting him, lucky me!
We were sad to leave everyone we miss them all. Look at this cute picture of Challas and Grandpa, 2 peas in a pod!!

This is the 5 and under group of Rodeo kids, Tess, Ashton, Rylan Evans, Emma Blanthorn, Erin Shane Warr and Kidd Blanthorn.

We are never short of helping hands! How cute is Challas looking at the kids!
Sept 19th was the last kids rodeo and that morning Challas's "unbellycan" cord as Tess says fell off so we gave him his first real bath in the kitchen sink. The kids love helping with Challas this bath was extra fun for all!

The Incredible Hulk!
Challas's 2 week appointment was Wednesday, he weighed 10 pounds and 13 ounces and grew 7/8 of an inch. That non stop eating is really paying off for him! What a boy he is living up to the Hulk! He is starting to be awake for longer periods of time now and loves to gaze out the window, and he loves tummy time, his neck is getting pretty strong. We have yet to loose the umbilical cord, hope it wont be to long for that. We are enjoying him so much and the kids are really cute with him, he has to get hugs and kisses before we tuck them into bed and Tess usually comes 3 or 4 times before she is satisfied!

Whats going on in our world!
Happy Anniversary to us! 9 years today whoa where did the time go? We are dining in this year! That seems to be our tradition for the last 8!
Matt won the Stock Saddle Bronc riding in Oakley this last Saturday, he drew a good horse and scored 83 points. $600 in prize money not to bad! He also was in the ranch rodeo Friday and Saturday, his team did not make it back to the finals. This was Challas's first outing he was good the entire time, Koy, Ash and Tess were glad to be able to play with all their buddies. They played in the dirt and were so dirty, the bath water the next morning was a bit muddy!
I started school with Koy last Monday, he seems to be ready to learn, a bit sad he dose not get to go to school but we will visit the school in Grouse when ever we get a chance. The girls want to do school so bad too so I got them some preschool books and we do them twice a week. Ash is pretty well on her way she picked up all the letters and numbers last year while watching Koy do his work.
Challas is a easy baby dose not cry much, he eats like a horse, he really is a bottomless pit! I will be surprised if at his appt this week he is not back up to 9lbs 11oz or more. He is quickly growing out of the 0to3 months stuff, he is to long for it!
