How about that sight, every morning and night the kids head out to feed the bottle calves, Challas trekking right along with. I love looking out the window or door seeing them trek out to find them.
Sometimes they ride their bikes, pretty good spot Koy found for the bottle!
And when they are done feeding them usually I hear laughing and screaming and see kids running and calves behind, the calves always want more bottle and the kids take off running so the calves follow its funny. When they do catch up the calves just lick them looking for more!
Koy holding Red, he is so ugly he is cute, no really he is a cute pup.
The calves caught up to me today, CC on the left is our kids calf and George on the right is the ranches, check out George he's got his tong out ready to lick!
Every year sometime in the spring or summer we have a homing Pigeon land and stay a few days, they are quite tame and just mill around for a week or so and then usually move on. The one this year had a lot of white on him. Unfortunately for him Bret's dogs had him for lunch, so he won't be flying home. They are neat birds the kids like to watch them and we have caught a few of them to see what the bands say.
