The Incredible Hulk!
Challas's 2 week appointment was Wednesday, he weighed 10 pounds and 13 ounces and grew 7/8 of an inch. That non stop eating is really paying off for him! What a boy he is living up to the Hulk! He is starting to be awake for longer periods of time now and loves to gaze out the window, and he loves tummy time, his neck is getting pretty strong. We have yet to loose the umbilical cord, hope it wont be to long for that. We are enjoying him so much and the kids are really cute with him, he has to get hugs and kisses before we tuck them into bed and Tess usually comes 3 or 4 times before she is satisfied!

Whats going on in our world!
Happy Anniversary to us! 9 years today whoa where did the time go? We are dining in this year! That seems to be our tradition for the last 8!
Matt won the Stock Saddle Bronc riding in Oakley this last Saturday, he drew a good horse and scored 83 points. $600 in prize money not to bad! He also was in the ranch rodeo Friday and Saturday, his team did not make it back to the finals. This was Challas's first outing he was good the entire time, Koy, Ash and Tess were glad to be able to play with all their buddies. They played in the dirt and were so dirty, the bath water the next morning was a bit muddy!
I started school with Koy last Monday, he seems to be ready to learn, a bit sad he dose not get to go to school but we will visit the school in Grouse when ever we get a chance. The girls want to do school so bad too so I got them some preschool books and we do them twice a week. Ash is pretty well on her way she picked up all the letters and numbers last year while watching Koy do his work.
Challas is a easy baby dose not cry much, he eats like a horse, he really is a bottomless pit! I will be surprised if at his appt this week he is not back up to 9lbs 11oz or more. He is quickly growing out of the 0to3 months stuff, he is to long for it!

Its a Boy!
Well we wait no more we got our baby, he is safe and sound in our arms. He was born on Saturday Aug 29th, at 9:10 pm, and weighed 9 pounds and 11 ounces and 22 inches long. Yep he is a big boy! We named him Challas Rye he has lots of black hair, and broad shoulders.
For all you that worried that we would not make the 3 hour drive to the hospital we did! I went into labor with steady pains 10 minutes apart at 9 am on Saturday morning and we left for the hospital at 2pm. We arrived in Brigham at 5:30 pm and grabbed Matt and the kids some dinner at burger king and then arrived at the hospital at 10 after 6, by then my pains had gotten to about 4 to 6 minutes apart. Aunt Vanette and Grandma and Alec came shortly after we had arrived and took the kids to Park City. We were all shocked at how big he is. The Dr and nurses and us were making wagers on weights and we were all under by 2 pounds, Tess was the biggest baby I had and she weighed 7# 12 oz. So when Uncle Chad called us the next morning and asked how the incredible Hulk was doing we had to laugh!
The kids all love him a lot, they can not seem to get enough touching and hugging and kissing in. It was pretty touching when the kids came to the hospital to see him for the first time they did not say much Tess had a big grin, but our sweet Ash she was trying to hold back the tears, so when I reached down to give her a hug and help her up on the bed she let it loose, I think she was so happy to see mom and dad and not sure how to process the excitement of the new one, she said I love you mom and then grabbed a hold of dads legs for a big hug. It was hard to hold back my own tears. Koy was not sure what to do so he kinda hid for a minute, then once they all warmed up they wanted to love the little guy.
We got home Monday evening and every one is doing well. I will try and post some pictures today as well.
