high speed internet :)

We are visiting Grandma and Papa, and the rest of the gang for the weekend and taking full advantage of the faster internet to upload pictures. Sorry they are in a random order, and just now noticing I don't have a picture of Tess, but she is here, cute as ever.

 I can not count the kids who have been fascinated by Grandmas piano, soooo many grand kids and great grand kids. So naturally Challas and Paisley fell right into line. These two were playing very sweet little tunes.

 The only fingers I can think of not wanting to play these keys were us kids during piano lessons at practice time and to think back now I sure wish I had taken advantage of those awesome lessons from Uncle Lee, I would love to know how to play the piano like him and mom. regrets.

 These 3 cuties, Paisley, Ashton and Talon were enjoying a bowl of Grandmas famous buttery popcorn, every one loves Grandmas popcorn.

 As you will see below, Koy was putting this egg half on Paisley's head she then put it on her face and looked like a astronaut! She is a fun little personality.

 Oh yes and Uncle Chad will tease you its his job in life, here he has tied Koys hands behind his back with his shirt and then pulling the back of shirt over his head........Koy still managed to get out all the while laughing.

 Oh yes and the domestic wild animals that are present, these 3 elk were not the least bit afraid of me and I walked very close, they stayed behind Grandmas all day despite our noise outside and frequent looking on.

Just how cute are these brothers. Koy is 8 and Challas 18 months.

 Wow we are raising a little book worm, it was so cute I had been reading history with McKoy and Challas went and found him a "real" not board book and sat next to us and began to read. The mimicking stage can be so cute.

Ok you are all thinking what is this picture, but it was so funny, the cows were all down around our front fence and one stepped on top of the sewer cover, its a wood top over the real lid, anyway she fell through, all the cows scattered yet were still very curious and stood there staring at the hole as if a monster was going to jump out, the just kept inching closer to it, so by time I got the camera they were looking at the window but a second or two they were staring all in a circle at the hole. I guess you had to be there but it was funny. Cow humor!

 

Happy Birthday Me!

Its my Birthday, well we all got to have them, and really they are great.

So what a great husband I have, on my birthday, on his lunch hour he baked me a cake. So I had to grab the camera for all those who may not believe that he can bake, and let the kids help. Whoa got some serious brownie points there!

 Not the best picture of me my eyes look funny, I like to take the pictures not be in them! any way I wanted to show the cake and did not get one of it alone. Chocolate with chocolate icing, sprinkles and candles, complete with them all singing the birthday song. Speechlessly smiling I was.

McKoy made me a darling card and wrapped it up complete with a bow, how sweet. Tess and Ash covered me with hugs and kisses. Priceless gifts! So thanks every one, I truly feel loved....

Ski trips

Our ski trips are over, but we were ever so grateful for each one. Koy and Ash really became good little skiers, they improved so much and loved it. I also benefited greatly. We are so glad that Grouse Creek included us in the fun. I wish I had some pictures to post but I never took my camera, I was to busy having fun with the kids.

 Challas was camped in his toy basket reading his little books out loud, to bad we could only make out ball ohh ball.

We love spring in the middle of winter.

So its funny that I would get to this post today, when it snowed and is cold, and last week we were loving the spring weather. Sorry the pictures are in random order.

Challas had fun getting the arrow out of the straw bale and trucking it back to Koy.

Ash was not thrilled with little brother scribbling on her picture but it was to cute she did not stop him either. He wants to be big so bad.

Tess was not in the best mood this afternoon, and said that the only thing good for the moment was her pink pants and cowboy boots, so that is the best picture I got of her, the others well they were crustys.

He has found a new fun sport, and feels pretty cool about that.

 Koy is learning to shoot his bow he got for Christmas and loving it.

Ashton is learning to do her hoop-a-loop as she calls it. Its cute to see her hips shaking around and her hands out.

Ashie is 6, can you believe it... We can not. She wanted a bunny cake, so here is my attempt. She loved it and that is all that mattered, it had a few flaws, my first attempt at fondant, it is interesting stuff.  Fun none the less.

She is just an easy going fun little girl. We sure love her..For now her fevers have left, we are so grateful for that. She has lost 3 teeth, starting to fix her own hair and sometimes Tess's too, the little 6 pound 8 ounce peanut is growing up.

Bobcats

Trapping was good this year, Matt caught 14 cats, lets hope the price is good too...
Mckoy sure had a great time helping check traps and watching and learning how to process them as well. He is getting old enought to be a lot of help to his dad.

More funny kid stuff...

As we watched America's Funniest Home Video tonight, there was a little boy who got into his mothers pads, and had them stuck all over him, Ash says what are those, Koy says really big band aids.............innocents is so adoring......

Challas Mr. helper, he loves to put laundry away so today I was handing him kitchen towels and he would actually get them to the right place. Then he would come for more and was so excited telling me something is his language that I do not understand, other than he was very excited about his job... so cute.

Also today, Ash and Tess were learning about different kinds of scientists and what they do, one of their questions on the worksheet was what is something you use every day that a scientist made, Ash says cell phone very good, Tess says lipstick! princess through and through! Pretty clever though..

Moments like these make you want them to stay little forever...

Happy Birthday Mckoy

Eight, seriously our little boy is 8! Whoa,,,, According to Koy he had an awesome week, he finished his first math book, lost another tooth, got to go skiing on his birthday, got a triceratops pillow pet that he wanted, and got a dinosaur cake and ice cream. that is what I can remember off the list of great things that happened to him last week.
Our boy in a nut shell.....
-still loves dinosaurs and knows every thing about them
-loves Bakugan
-loves skiing
-likes to do mulptication
-tacos, scones, donuts, chicken and rice-a-roni, Hershey's chocolate, lemonade, some favorite foods
-likes to play the wii
-loves to trap and hunt
-is good at riding the 4 wheelers
-can be great help with Challas and around the house
-looks up to Alec
-would like to be a jokester like Uncle Chad
-still keeps us laughing with what he says...
-enjoys science and history
-loves his family
-teases his sisters when ever he gets the chance
-is growing up to fast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOY!

Challas Unleashed!

Once again I must post about our little big man. He is little in age, big in stature, and fearless.......
Challas loves to:
-climb high and jump off, the couch is a favorite. he gets up on the back then jumps to the cushions and some times to the floor.
-ride his spring horse, he stands on the back supports or on the seat and jumps just as hard as he can go.
-pick up very heavy things; full sacks of garbage, weights, pans, chairs, pretty much what ever.
-put the laundry away
-to give hugs and kisses, pretty much he can melt you with either one.
-the dishwasher, pretty much everything about it, he also likes to put dishes away, and manages to get them into the right place, I hand him things that are in low cupboards and he puts them away.
-to go outside, with all this mud he is in heaven, yet not stable enough to keep his boots on or not fall right in the puddle, its made for a lot of laundry.
-red vines as many as you will hand out.
-his bottle, ya I know got to graduate him, but he so loves it.
-brush his teeth, at least his interest has switched a little from the toilet.....
-have a bath.
-put his dirty diapers in the trash.'
-eat olives, a lot of them.......
-to talk, the things we can understand are: dada, mama, nana, papa, mor(more), baba, mooo, bi(bite), ball and a bunch we don't.
-the computer, and can get things done that I have no idea how to undo...
-the garbage, lets face it, its an interesting place to explore!
That is a few things that keep this boy busy and us to.

Loose Tooth For Ashton

While we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa Ashton lost her front top tooth. That was pretty exciting for her. The tooth fairy left her "two one dollars" she said in excitement the next morning. This is her 3rd tooth she has lost.

It was also fun to have Talon spend the night with us at Grandmas. He is a creative, intense young man. His dad brought over his favorite stripped PJ's, they just so happen to be his "supper heeo(hero) jammas" as he would say. He entertained us for hours.

Mckoy was elated to spend some time with Alec, he really enjoys hanging out with Alec.

Our time went way to fast again and we can not wait to go back for another visit.

We were so happy to celebrate Nana's 60th Birthday this January. We all met at a cute little restaurant in Rupert and had lunch. Just how great is it to have awesome family. The visit with everyone was fun. Nana is such a special lady. hope to get more pictures up, internet is so very slow...
