Snow Much Fun!

Matt, Tess, Ashton, Challas, Me, Talon, and Koy. Challas fell asleep on the drive but woke up shortly after this picture.

McKoy was good to help with Challas who wanted a ride every time the machine stopped.

McKoy was also good help to ride with Tess, as she has no fear and combine that with her gocking off to see if you are watching her go fast and it spells disaster, so Koy prevented a wreck. He also had a good time spinning cookies and cruising around all by him self.

Hold on Ash you are picking up speed! She really loved the straight away so she could floor it and go fast.

Challas, I think it is so cute when little kids have all there snow clothes on and they can barley walk around! They are like little snowmen!

The kids climbed up to the top of this rock while we took a break from sledding to watch the cows come around the corner that Dad and Bret were moving.

We truly had Snow Much Fun, the week after Christmas. Chad and Talon came home with us the day after Christmas, that was a very snowy day the roads were very slick and a bit scary. We all stopped at the Blue House to get the mares it was a bit of luck that we got in up to the corals, there were some pretty good drifts in the road. The mares were happy to see us and loaded right up in the trailer. So the rest of the week we played in the snow. We went sledding several times a day and the kids loved having Talon to play. We all went to check one of Matt's traps that had a bobcat in it, Talon thought that was pretty cool. And all the kids LOVED riding Talons little 4-wheeler around the yard. We really did enjoy their company and can't wait till they come again. I can't think of a better way to spend the rest of 2010 than these past few days.

Moving Cows with Dad

The kids and I went to pick up Matt and Bret this cold and snowy December day they were moving cows. Matt gave all the kids a ride on Ghost. The snowflakes falling were huge, it was a winter wonder land.

Sledding

We don't really have many good rock less sledding hills close by, so we just pull the kids in a big sled behind the four wheeler. Some times the dog comes along to! Challas would rather ride in the ranger with mom or dad than on the sled. Its a good time and there is lots of meadows to play in. It brings back memories of dad pulling us behind his truck down Old Ranch Road and down Longs lane, so much fun...

Trappin

McKoy loves to go check traps with dad, he loves it even more when they catch one. He is definitely not afraid to get close! Bobcats are such a beautiful animal.

Snowman

Here is the kids first snowman this year, it was a warm day and wet snow as you can see he did not last long. Ashton looked out the window and said "Hey guys our snowman passed out", the kids all ran over to see.

Festaval of Trees

Ashton and Tess danced at the festival of trees in Burley again this year. They looked so cute in their costumes, and did so well.

Santa was also there for the kids to visit, McKoy was eager to let him know what was on his list and that we would be at Grandmas this Christmas, Ash and Tess were not shy about jumping up on his lap either, Challas did not cry but just kept looking at him.
