We finally made it to the dinosaur park! As you can see the kids loved it. Koy was in 7th heaven, what more can a boy who loves dinosaurs want than 8 acres of life like creatures tucked away in the trees on nature paths? The girls also loved them. They were pretending they were on a safari and searching out each creature. Thanks to Aunt Stacey for the tickets she gave us 2 years ago they were still good! So Dinosaur park was on Monday after we had been to my Dr appt, only to find out my blood sugar tested high, so the next step was to take the 3 hour glucose test. Since we were headed for Grandma's I had them schedule it down there. It took all day on Tuesday I fasted for the 10 hours and then got to the hospital at 8 am for the test which took till 12:30, Sooooooooooo glad it is over the nurse had trouble getting my blood drawn a couple of the times and you know how I hate the whole needle thing, ahhhh hate to even think about it. Test turned out ok, my blood sugar is in the normal range, thank goodness. Only 6 1/2 weeks to go, Dr said after 3 more weeks he would not stop labor if I went in on my own. Lets hope this little darling wants to come a week or two early!
So Wed we decided to brave the Zoo! Its hot in July why not! We had a good time Alec came with me and the kids and we made it in about 3 hours, did not miss a thing. The kids loved the new carousel ride. The heat was tolerable. Later that day Kami made room in her schedule to do my over grown hair, so glad for her.
Thursday we headed for home, we were sad to leave every one. On the way home Tess got sick and the rest of the night was a tough one Ash also got sick. I think the girls got sick from the corn dog they ate on the way home cause it left as soon as it came and wow they were sick. Unfortunately for Ashton her fever came at the same time so we started the 4 day fever pain. Poor kid is so tough I hate for her to have to deal with them.
